Josephine van Schendel (Amsterdam, 1996) is a researcher and designer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her work, both commissioned and self-directed, oscillates between graphic design, video and sculpture. In addition to presenting design and research projects, she writes, makes exhibitions and teaches workshops.
She holds a BA in graphic design from the Royal Academy of Art and has been student at the Dirty Art Department, Sandberg Institute. She is currently an intern curator and researcher at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
Her work/writings have been featured in among others: Het Parool, Progetto Grafico (IT), Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, at7 project space (Amsterdam), De Internet Gids (NL), Mama Rotterdam, The One Minutes, NHD (Noord Hollands Dagblad), Productiehuis Theater Rotterdam, NEST (Den Haag), Trouw (NL).
